Milestone cards

Each milestone card shows:
  • Version (e.g. v1.0.0) and repository name
  • Stage pipeline — visual progress through PLANNING → DEPLOYED
  • Blocking badge — count of items preventing stage advancement
  • Quick links — jump to GitHub issues, PRs, or workflow runs

Empty and bootstrap states

If the GitHub App is not installed, the dashboard prompts you to install it. If the App is installed but no repositories are connected (for example, you selected no repos during install), the dashboard shows guidance to grant repository access on GitHub and click Sync now — you do not need to re-install the App. If your GitHub account has no repositories yet, create one first, then grant access and sync. Repositories without milestones appear in empty repos with bootstrap state: Click Set up repo to launch the repo setup wizard.

Sync and refresh

  • Background sync every 60 seconds
  • Manual refresh triggers immediate sync
  • Webhooks push real-time updates via server-sent events (/api/events)
If milestones are missing after installing the app, click Sync now (or Refresh) and verify the GitHub App has access to the repository in GitHub Settings → Applications → LaneSync → Configure.

Workspace switching

Users in multiple GitHub orgs use the workspace picker after OAuth sign-in. All dashboard data is scoped to the active tenant.
