Find the blocker
Open a release to see whether it is Blocked, Needs approval, In progress, or Ready to deploy, with the reason and next action.
See the evidence
Quality Gates compare required test, coverage, and security results with your configured thresholds. The Gate Verdict explains GO or NO-GO.
A verdict is one part of readiness
A quality GO does not skip an evidence review or merge. A release becomes Ready to deploy only after its other requirements are complete. Deployed is a separate record of production deployment. Missing required results do not count as a pass. Follow an illustrative release from a blocker to readiness in the product tour on lanesync.dev, or see Release readiness overview for the dashboard states.Choose where to configure LaneSync
After connecting the GitHub App, open Orgs & Repos and choose the setup scope:- Configure organization: shared policy lives in
<org>/.github/sdlc.yaml, and LaneSync-managed SDLC rulesets live in GitHub organization settings. Coverage follows the App’s repository access. Configure an organization. - Configure repository: configuration lives in that repository’s root
sdlc.yaml, and its LaneSync-managed rulesets live in that repository’s GitHub settings. Personal accounts use this path.
How LaneSync supports the decision
Release pipeline
Release pipeline
LaneSync keeps Planning → Development → Testing → Evidencing → Deployment visible behind each release. Stage gates use GitHub issues, pull requests, checks, evidence, and deployments. See Release pipeline.
Protection and enforcement
Protection and enforcement
GitHub rulesets, LaneSync’s stage evaluation, and the
SDLC Enforce check apply the configured requirements. Check names and branch targets come from the effective configuration. See Enforcement.Quality and feature tracking
Quality and feature tracking
CI evidence powers Quality Gates, feature-level test history, regression comparisons, and exportable reports. See Quality tracking.
